A food lift is a type of small elevator used to lift and lower food or drinks from one floor to another, usually used in restaurants, hotels or other eating places. A food lift consists of a food shelf and a lifting mechanism located inside a wall or in a small room between two floors. The food elevator can be operated manually or automatically, and its conveying capacity is usually around 50 to 200 kilograms. The use of a food lift can increase efficiency and speed in delivering food from the kitchen to the customer's table, as well as reducing the risk of damage or injury due to manual lifting by employees.
